History[]

Lock's Quest[]

Silver Magician Idle (Siege)

Silver Magicians in Siege.

Silver Magicians appear as enemies in the Siege at Antonia South.

After the game is completed, Silver Magicians replace all normal Magicians in cutscenes and battles, making their first actual appearance at Nomad Settlement.

In VS mode, Silver Magicians can be purchased from the fourth day and onwards, along with the other Silver Clockworks. Each Silver Magician used costs 260 Source.

Silver Magicians appear in the cutscenes at Marshe Lowlands, but they never appear in battles.

Strategies and guides[]

As well as using Anti-Magic Fields, Acid Tripwires and Freeze Snares, with Basic Turrets and Burning Splashes are best recommended against Silver Magicians with other Clockwork units.

Goo Launchers can also be used to slow their movement when casting fire magic, allowing other turrets to deal damage to them, even possibly before Silver Magicians can do any damage. The use of Range Helpers to boost turret's range is also recommended.

Silver Magicians can be found in groups with Silver Knights and Silver Shielders.

Trivia[]

  • It is unknown why Silver Magicians get skipped before the game is completed in the Nintendo DS version.
    • However, considering that they do appear in the cutscenes of Marshe Lowlands in the remastered port, it likely means that Silver Magicians were supposed to appear in-battles at Marshe Lowlands beforehand.
  • When Magicians step near Anti-Magic Field traps, the amount of damage they deal normally is divided by 5. However, Silver Magicians deal 35 damage on Normal mode, but deals 6 damage when nullified. This must be another mathematical error found in the game's coding or a general unintentional mistake.
    • On the Easy difficulty, Silver Magicians deal 24 damage, whilst they deal 4 damage while nullified. However, because 24 is a multiple of 4, even if the actual number is 24.49, this would still be correct even with the hidden decimal system, just that the number is divided by 6, not 5.
